What is a Mascot Character?
A Mascot Character is the type of costume that conceals a performers full identity. Mascot costumes have poor visibility and the level of activity may be limited due to temperature restrictions, visibility and mobility. The temperature a performer experiences in a Mascot Costume is 20-30 degrees hotter then what you or your guests would feel. Due to their construction heat is intensified by the costumes 3/4 inch foam, body fur, head gear and latex lining especially if a performer is jumping around and dancing. Because of the excess heat a performers time in a Mascot costume may be restricted for their safety. Mascot Character Cameos average 15-20 minutes sometimes longer depending on temperature. Examples of Mascot Characters are the Easter Bunny, Batman, Frosty etc. If booking a package listed below your second performer/entertainer will change from a Celebration Entertainer into your Mascot Character as your finale for a cameo appearance during your last half hour. What is a Theatrical Theme Character?
A Theatrical Theme Character is a performer whose actual face is shown and costume does not restrict their performance level. Examples of Theatrical Character themes are Princess, Pirate, Blippi, Ms Rachel etc. Theatrical themed performers will be out on floor entire time.
